The Bike Shop

Bicycles have always been a passion with me. Riding, racing, all aspects..

I took a few years off back in the mid 90’s from the hotel game and was Sales manager for a local bike shop. It was a total decompression job, mental health career break for me. I was surrounded by bikes all day 40 hours a week..Heaven!

It would be my dream of dreams to open a small shop strictly catering to vintage cycles.40’s through the 80’s models only. Road bikes, BMX, Cruisers, Old British 3 speeds etc. Just live the dream and spread my knowledge to a whole new generation of enthusiasts.

I remember having a conversation with the owner of the shop I worked at about why he opened a shop as it seemed he wasn’t a real huge fan of the sport. He told me, if I wanted to start a business. the two best things to do were a bike shop or a guitar shop…Because you will get guys that will work for almost nothing as they just want to be around their passions and come payday? They end up spending half their checks right back into your shop! Ok, I found this completely disheartening although somewhat humorous…Definitely NOT  my idea of good business..

Maybe someday my dream will come true…

Celebrity Deaths…

Seems like an odd topic…Celebrity deaths….Why do they upset us so sometimes? Yes, death is tragic..But why such connection and sorrow when they pass do we sometimes feel? They entertain us of course, make us happy, but the majority of us have no intimate connection to them…Well, here friends is my story….

Working for years as a Security Director for an upscale hotel I had quite the list a A list celebs in my Rolodex…You youngsters can look up Rolodex if you need…lol….This being said, two celebrity deaths really shook me to the core..John Kennedy Jr and Phil Hartman.

Over time, these two men became more than just guests/clients to me. We spent many hours together  and became legit first name basis buddies. The two of them were among the classiest and warm people I have ever met on any level. I remember being numb and chilled to the bone hearing of their tragic passing.  Literally speechless for a few days after John died. Rest in Peace to you both.

This is a post I would love to get feedback or stories as to a celebrity death that impacted you and why…Thanks

Tips From Daddy…Pay Attention!

Some days I wonder what planet I am on…What became of manners..common courtesy…being a GENTLEMAN for fuck sake?? I would love to put blame on the younger generation…lol…But sadly, this behavior spans all ages and walks of life…Well guys, I am here to give you some pointers as how to be a true Gentleman and make her swoon…Feel free to take notes…And raise your hand if you have a question.

Let’s begin, shall we?

1.Bags/packages etc. Ok, being in the hotel biz this is one I am all to familiar with. Almost every weekend I will have couples enter the building with the wife/GF doing the majority of the baggage handling. Wait…WHAT??? Yes, it’s true campers. And more often then I’d care to say I have had the HONOR of carrying bags up a flight of stairs for a couple with the “man” (ahem, cough cough) being capable and 10-20 years my junior…YES! this actually happens!! Disgraceful in my eyes. How could any male of the species NOT be humiliated by this?? Zero sense of pride perhaps?? Let me just say that it will be a cold day in Hell when MY wife lifts anything heavier than her purse if I am there. Guys? Grab the bags without hesitation and man up…And hey! If it helps? Make two trips…No one will think any less of you…

2.Open the damn doors…Did the male populous miss class the day this was taught?? When with your better half, Please…I beg of you…Open and hold doors for her…The car…This one kills me…How many times have I seen the guy actually unlock the car hop in while his lady is standing there WAITING for him to even unlock her side…I have wanted to physically drag them out, take them by the ear and walk them around to open the door for her. Just to humiliate him and show her what a true bag of shite she is dealing with. This goes for opening the door at stores, restaurants etc…Whatever happened to “Ladies First??” Sigh…

3. The little things…These go without saying, but I’ll say them…Pull her chair out for her…Help her with her coat…Compliment her…It’s all free and she’ll think the world of you..Trust me! I know shit!!! 😉

4.Walking with her…For those of you new to this..When walking with your lady down the street…Guys??? Get your ass on the outside/curbside..You want to keep her safe, right??? There is ONE exception to this that I will accept and practice myself. If walking in a potentially dangerous area where strangers lurking  in doorways is a possibility? Yes, please take the inside lane.

p now and then5.The Slob Factor….Men…Please…Clean up after yourself. It’s not hard…Not saying you have to scrub the place down daily, but seriously…Your lady does not really want to transport your nasty ass socks and undies to the laundry basket…Trust me..That will get real old, real fast. Your MAMA doesn’t live here!!!! She will truly appreciate little bits of tidying up now and then.ok?

That’s a start…I hope this has been entertaining as well as informative….Thanks for listening…Sorry for the few typos….lol

Fur Fetish…When? Why?

Ok, so a topic near and dear to me..

Yes, I love furs…Real ones..nothing like them…I mean come on, everybody has that fetish that just sends them to the ends of paradise, right?

And thankfully my wife is right on board with this fetish. Makes our love life even more special from time to time. Not that’s it’s needed by any means, but it’s our special kink place we share. One of many…

Ok, when did this fetish start for me you may ask? Or maybe you won’t! Anyhow, I seem to remember when I was a young lad..8-ish or so..I would see these women on TV or in Movies in these gorgeous fur coats. I wasn;t sure why I was drawn to them, but I was. As I got older, It seemed simple. Most women I saw in real furs were sexy because of their level of confidence. Almost thumbing their noses at society saying “Fur may be wrong in your opinion, but fuck you, I look amazing! ” I liked that…Furs bring out a level of sexy, flirtiness , that is hard to explain…They also seemed to be worn by “The bad girls” in high school…And the Slightly evil, women of power in my later years..Such a turn on.

The obvious part of the fur fetish is the feel….The feel of sinking into deep soft pelts..having your love touch every inch of your body with the softness of fox, coyote, lynx etc…bringing every nerve ending to life beyond words….To a point of orgasmic ecstasy you must experience  to understand.

I am fortunate to have my kitten totally on board with this…It excites her just as much..She KNOWS what she does to her Daddy when she wears one of her several beautiful foxes in the bedroom or teases me relentlessly with fur toys..

I truly am a lucky Daddy…

The Days of 70’s-80’s TV and Radio

Ok, I’m a nostalgia nut…Thinking back to the simpler days of my youth and the glorious high school years..Ok, they weren’t always glorious but there was always an escape. Before the world of 24/7/365 media? There was the awesomeness of local TV and Radio. Any time the world seemed too much and life was just a royal pain in the balls? There were the local DJ’s and TV shows to make everything right and fill your world with great music and lousy late night movies..lol

Boston was a hot bed for amazing rock and pop  radio stations during the 70’s and 80’s but it was a little A.M.rock station..Yes, showing my age…A.M.Rock? Yes, it was a thing…A little rock station in my hometown of 30,000 people that was my go to in the early years…WGTR Natick, MA…The DJ’s became like family to a lot of us…John, David O, etc etc …I remember during the Blizzard of 1978 when the state was shutdown to all vehicles that the DJ’s were literally stranded at the station and kept broadcasting for days on end until the travel ban was lifted…True troopers.

As High School approached, WGTR faded away and the heavy hitter stations in Boston became my saviors…Yes, F.M…lol It was great, but not the same…Not as innocent, but still very cool…

Shortly after MTV took to the airways, a local TV station…A UHF station…Channel 66  V66 specifically became our very own LOCAL MTV! What a concept! A video channel for us still not on board with cable TV!!! Hog Heaven for this music loving teen…

Just a trip down memory lane…Hope you enjoyed and had similar memories..

Bicycles…

Just  a brief note…Maybe..So, since I was little, bicycles have been a huge part of my life…They have been family…friends to a kid , the youngest kid of a split family. Divorce was not very common in the 70’s which was the era of my youth…I had a hard time learning to ride as I was blinded in my right eye at 8 years old. Yes, I was a late bike bloomer…

When I finally mastered the two wheeled arts, I was hooked..I mean beyond words..This was SUCH freedom…Out the door and gone for hours without a trace or care in the world. Nothing mattered except trying to beat personal goals for speed, distance etc….My first bike was part of me. As beat up of a hand me down junker as she was, I wouldn’t have traded her for the world.

I remember going to the bike shop almost daily and staring at and sitting on this one particular BMX bike..I was fixated on this one for sure…I  wanted this one…No, NEEDED this one. A 1981 Raleigh Rampar R-10…Factory orange..

I dropped hints left and right about Christmas coming up and my desire for this bike..I tried all the tricks…”I’ll never ask for anything again” “I’ll shovel snow and clean my room” etc etc….Didn’t seem like I was getting through…

Well, Christmas morning came…I came into the living  room in our little apartment…No bike…I tried to act thrilled and grateful for the gifts I opened, but it was killing me…I knew even at that age money was tight and Mom was doing her best…Suddenly, Mom asked me to go out to the entry way hall and take out the trash or something like that…BAM SHAZAM!! I opened the front door   There she was in all her glory!!! My dream bike had come home to me!!! I think I may have cried a little…Somehow my glorious Mom had pulled it off!!! I hugged her and thanked her like never before, but honestly I couldn’t get my shoes on fast enough and despite the snow, I grabbed that baby and hit the street like I was running from the law!!! lol

This was the start of a cycling life and my true love of bicycles for a lifetime to come…..Stories will continue…I truly have so many bike stories and hope they touch you if you are a fan of these grand machines as much as I am…

So, here I am…

So, here I am…New to this blog world so thought I’d give a little intro…I am the Daddy and Husband of Succuent Savage…Some of you may know her writings. She is the love of my life and my whole world…

Mr. & Mrs. McDaddy

Welcome to our blog! My wife started this blog a few months ago. Now that it’s taking off and she’s got me sparked to write we’ve joined forced in a dual paged blog which reflects various parts of both our lives.

Mr. & Mrs. McDaddy

We are your typical married couple… kinda. We met through some shared kinks on a social media site a little over a year ago. We live together, work, play, pay bills… all the normal things couples do. We just do ours with a kinky twist. She calls me “Daddy” to reflect to Dominant/submissive nature of our relationship. she is My submissive in all things. I am her Master, Daddy, Owner and Protector in all things. The husband part came a little later.

I call her “kitten”. She’s My a babygirl. All that means is that she’s a sweet, obedient sub. Don’t get me wrong, she sure likes to be a brat sometimes! More often than not, she’s very obedient and more than happy to please her Daddy. kitte is also a little. We don’t engage in age play. We don’t ever pretend she’s a little girl during sex and certainly not MY daughter!!! We’re good with others doing it. It hits the EWWWW factor for us both.

In our vanilla lives, she is a housewife. Mrs. McDaddy is intelligent, artistic, a creative home chef, and a retired mental health worker. I am well seasoned in the hospitality industry. I’ve got stories galore to tell!!! Come to think of it, kitten could probably share some funnies and insights into her former work life. You’ll see posts from us both on all sorts of subjects.

I hope those who follow my personal blog will also enjoy My kitten’s writing on her end of the blog at http://www.wordpress.com/succulentsavagesays.home.blog
